Uses of Facebook

Facebook has a multitude of uses. One of these uses is for a business of your own. You can find big corporations or tiny independent, homegrown businesses. If you own your own business and want to get more customers, you can set up a Facebook page to advertise your business. This can showcase what you sell, show the address and location of your store, or allow people to leave reviews of your store or customer service. Facebook has become a very large and useful place to set up a page for your business and with the right advertising, it can allow you to grow your business. 

The great thing about advertising your business on Facebook, is that Facebook is accessed by people worldwide, allowing a cornucopia of potential new customers. 

You can even promote your business by paying a certain amount of money for a defined amount of days. This will show your page to potential customers of their Facebook account. 

A lot of large corporations have their own Facebook page that allows them to promote their services or goods for sale. 

Business can be searched for in the 'Search' box and anyone with a Facebook account can find and look on the business Facebook Page to see if it interests them. 

You can customise your Facebook business page, by providing a profile picture of the business. You can also put the opening times of your business so potential customers can see if you're open or not. Also the address can be added to your page so potential customers can see how close or far you are away from them. An easily recognisible profile picture and cover photo, will make it easier for customers to find your business and come back to it in the future. 

You can even post on your business page. You can post things such as photos of your product and text posts about what you sell and how much they cost. You can also post links to your website which could lead customers directly to a purchase. 

The best way to get customers for your business on Facebook, is to regularly post about your products, events and sales. Also, interacting with your followers and replying to messages and comments will help your business grow and for you to get sales.

To help get maximum sales, be sure to post about your business during certain hours. This will be times where the majority of people are not at work or sleeping. This will increase the number of people who see your posts, which then increases sales.

Set Up An Account!

1.

Open up your preferred browser and type in facebook.co.uk.

2.

You will see 'Create an account' on the homepage.

3.

Enter your name and either an email address or a phone number. Whichever one suits you best.

4.

Enter a password. Make sure it is not easily guessed and contains some numbers as well as letters.

5.

Enter your birthday. Then click whether you are a male or a female. 

6.

Lastly click the big green button that says 'Sign Up' underneath.

7.

That's it! If everything is entered correctly, you will have your very own Facebook Account.
